They learned how to do it, as they lived it. Heather Simpson will chair the meeting.

Community-Supported Dying – the Story of Mary Morgan”. A group of three people in Powell River – Julia Adam, Laurie Norman and Anna Byrne – who met in a Death and Dying book club assisted their friend Mary through her dying process. They shared their experience with their community, summarized in the 10-minute video; Community-Supported Dying Workshop. In the meeting we will show a longer video and we will have the three women come in through Zoom to further talk about their experience. The meeting will not follow the usual format, to ensure we have enough time to devote to the presentation.
