Meetings & Events
Monthly Meetings
Our meetings are usually held on the third Monday of the month, from 3:00 – 4:30 pm in the Quadra Community Centre, Room 3, September through April. We meet in-person whenever possible and provide a Zoom link to those not able to attend in person. If you are not already on the email list and would like to receive the Zoom link, please request your address be added using the Contact section of this website. Everyone is welcome.
The meetings consist of about a ½ hour for sharing about death, dying and grief, and the next hour for a presentation to learn more about a particular death-related topic, followed by a question and answer period and discussion.

This will be an 18-month research and education program aimed at gathering information about our community’s perspective on supporting individuals with serious illnesses, caregiving, end-of-life situations, and grief. We will also provide educational resources and events to help friends and family navigate the challenging journey with their loved ones. Come learn about the ‘Compassionate Community’ program and explore how you can get involved.
